The Representative of Neomanist Association attended the round table, organized by the NGO Home Care, entitled “Development of home care services in Moldova”. There took part nine organizations and representatives of the National Medical Insurance Company (NMIC) at the meeting. During the event, it was discussed the mechanisms of contracting home care services by the NMIC. Besides, the major problems identified in home care services, were related by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, Ministry of Health, NGOs, NMIC.Each participant outlined his wishes, problems faced and proposals for future work.
It was decided that during the following days each participant will submit AO Home-Care, the proposal for the standard forms they use to track assisted cases.
At the end, it was decided to write a letter signed by all involved participants including all issues and proposals discussed at the meeting in order to be analyzed by the Minister of Health.
The main objective is to change the orders and legislation concerning home care, to the actual situation of this field.
Another suggestion was to organize a group of experts who will analyze the situation in the territory, so that the demands would be justified and documented by the opinion of experts.
Next meeting of initiative group will be held on February 15, 2012.It is expected to invite a representative of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova.
