In everyone’s life, as in nature, are four seasons: Winter-purity of childhood, Spring-talkative teens, Summer– sunny maturity, Autumn– gold, rich and wise. So golden autumn of the Neoumanist Association’s beneficiaries gave us the all: soul wisdom, wealth of experience and endless heat of their hearts!
International Day of the Elderly -1 October Neoumanist Association organized a concert for beneficiaries. Among the guests of honor were:
• Ms. Valentina Buliga Minister of Labour Social Welfare and Family
• Edelweiss Foundation, represented by Lara Castraveţ, have donated with love, blankets for the present elderly, which are so necessary in the cold winter nights. Edelvais warm hearts will heat both physical and the souls of our beneficiaries.
• BioProtect Company, represented by Cristina Meriuta,(who came with Folk Studio “Iedera”) donated food and detergents.
• Mr. Priguza Constantin, mayor of Straseni
• Mr. Sebastian Saptefrati, Deputy Head of the Directorate of Social Protection Family and Child of the Straseni Council.
• Mr. Gheorghe Calmîş – President of the District Council of Veterans Organization in Straseni.
• Ms. Maria Surdu – Chief Service of Public Relations of M.Sadoveanu Public Library, who organized a book exhibition called “Dignity of old age “.
• Representatives of the district Straseni Russian Community, came with small gifts and a poem dedicated to the elderly.
Beneficiaries were delighted by the presence of children from No.2 Kindergarten- Straseni, who prepared the artistic program “Grandparents Day”, singing, dancing and reciting brought many smiles on the faces of elderly and finally they gave them flowers from the “ fall garden”.
We also enjoyed the artistic program prepared by children from Folk Studio “Iedera” – led by sisters Osoianu and dance ensembles of the Straseni House of Arts, choreographer Cristina Croitor.
Of course our beneficiaries surprised everyone present with their artistic talents.
No need to calculate the age after years elapsed, but by the amount of wisdom, knowledge and experience. So this day no one will call the International Day of the Elderly, but the International Day of Wise People. We wish them all, good health and thank them for their work over life, for creating beautiful families, and for strong roots planted in the realm of love, humanity, and honesty.
